RANT APP
MAY 2024 // CONCEPTUAL PROJECT
Inspired by thorough UX research, the RANT app was created to address a unique user problem: the inadvertent spoiling of books to family and friends. Upon research the accidental spoiling was driven by the need to discuss the book’s plot points with someone, thus RANT was born. The app allows users to engage in chapter-by-chapter discussions around their current reads, creating a like-minded community to host discussions.
This allows the user to satisfy their urge to talk about the book without spoiling the reading experience for those in her close vicinity. The RANT brand identity is vibrant, fun and colourful to reflect the reading experience.

Opposed to most design briefs, this project focuses on creating an outcome for one specific user. From the problem that sparked the app idea, to colour choices and content were all tailored to 'user x.'
